Human rights leader Nelson Mandela was elected president of South Africa in 1994. He was the first democratically elected and first black president of the country. Mandela was instrumental in moving South Africa forward during the post-apartheid years and left a lasting legacy on the world. Today would have been his 100 birthday. .

The team prepped and delivered meals. 1,500 VitaKidz Porridge Packs were included in backpacks of school supplies for students at Dietrich Moravian Primary School, a collaboration between Spar, Western Cape Provincial Treasury, and Radio Tygerberg 104fm.
