Finally made this *creamy carrot and lemongrass soup* from the Nov issue of @cookinglight via @dishingouthealth. So delish! 😍

I adapted the recipe slightly to suite my needs (which is something I always do. If a recipe calls for an ingredient I can’t eat or don’t have on hand, I get creative and see if I can make something else work!) Topped it off with crunchy radishes, sprouts, chopped pistachios, and red pepper flakes.👌🏼

Weird salad addition I'm liking lately? Crispy parsley. All I do is dry toast the leaves in a pan until brown and chip-like then throw them on my salad. They add a nice crunch and fresh flavor. Sunday digs 🙌🏻 Honestly, sometimes I just want some hashbrowns... ya know? Shaved some organic red potatoes and cooked them on my cast iron with some coconut oil and celtic sea salt until cooked and browned. 2 soft boiled local pastured eggs (6 minutes👌🏻), avocado, roasted curry cauliflower and broccoli, sautéed spinach and a side of some homemade cilantro/parsley pesto 🤤🙌🏻😭 #realfood #sundayeats #sproutedliving .

Doing the best of Sunday aKa having this as breakfast.There is fruit in there, so why not 🤷🏼‍♀️. .

Raw chocolateY tarts with banana pudding and strawberries 🍓:
Crust:
• 2 cups walnuts
• 1/2 cup coconut
• 1/2 cup cacao
• 1/3 cup maple syrup
• 6 dates
• 1/2 tbsp coconut oil(melted)
• 1 tsp vanila and a pinch of sea salt
Blend walnuts first,then add everything else and blend again.Cover the pans with foil and press the mixture in the base and sides of the pans.Put in the refrigerator to set while you make the filling.
Filling: (recipe by @hazel_and_cacao )
• 3 ripe bananas
• 10 dates
• 1/4 cup cacao
• 1/4 cup almond milk(or milk of choice)
• 1/4 cup melted cacao butter (optional but makes it creamier)
•  1 tps vanilla 
Blend everything and pour over the base.Smooth with spatula and garnish with strawberries.

Baked organic chicken (garlic powder, s+p), Japanese + jewel sweet potatoes (coat with @primalkitchenfoods avocado oil, season with @primalpalate bae seasoning, s+p. We dare you to stop after eating just one of these Peppermint Keto Cups

INGREDIENTS
1 cup Nutiva Organic Coconut Manna, measured then melted
2 Tbsp Nutiva Organic MCT Oil
½ Tbsp peppermint extract
1 tsp monk fruit
1 packet ColorKitchen Natural Green Food Color
Himalayan salt, pinch
.
INSTRUCTIONS
Line a muffin tin with 6 cupcake liners, and set the tin aside.
Measure then melt manna via any method preferred.
Place manna, MCT Oil, peppermint extract, monk fruit, and salt in a small bowl and stir by hand until all pieces are completely blended together.
Little-by-little, add in the green food coloring until shade of green desired appears.
Pour mixture evenly into the 6 cupcake liners.
Place in freezer for at least 30 minutes.
Remove, and enjoy.

Some of my favorite parts about this community are connecting with other like-minded souls, sharing stories and knowledge about life, building a network of incredibly genuine, supportive & talented women, and drooling over some seriously outrageous food. I’m grateful to have been reminded of all these thing a few weeks back at @thegoodfest in LA. I left that day feeling reinvigorated... and aIso left with a jar of @coreandrind in my hands. I swear, I’m not trying to be cheesy (well maybe a little), but damn, this stuff is delicious. Drizzle it on sweet potatoes, or better yet, straight into your mouth from the jar. 👌✨ Happy Saturday!

The cookie craving struck hard last night, so I decided to whip up these paleo snickerdoodles 🙌 good thing they’re made with real, clean ingredients cause I can’t stop eating them 😳
...
How to:
1 1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup date paste*
1/4 cup nut butter (I used homemade cashew butter)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of sea salt

Cinnamon
Coconut sugar 
Preheat oven to 350 and line baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine cinnamon and coconut sugar in small bowl and set aside. Combine all ingredients except cinnamon and coconut sugar and mix well. Roll into 1 inch balls and then roll balls in cinnamon/coconut sugar mix. Place on baking sheet. Press down into desired shape as the cookies won’t flatten out on their own. Bake in oven for 10 minutes and then try not to eat them all at once 😜

One pan breakfast of dreams! Saw this recipe Instagram a couple of weeks ago and have been dying to make it since. I edited it slightly, the original recipe called for 1/3 tin of tomatoes but I had some fresh tomatoes going off (see previous post for food guilt) so did a swap. I also used four sausages instead of two because, well, gains. And finally I am the worlds most useless egg baker and always overcook them in the oven so I stuck to cooking this on the stove and only putting in the oven for a minute at the end. Either way this recipe is pretty flexible! Baked beans aren't paleo so you can omit these from the recipe if need be, but I figured it's Sunday so why the hell not

2 eggs
4 @heckfooduk sausages
100g bacon lardons
3 medium vine tomatoes, chopped
1/2 tin baked beans
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp sage
Splash Tabasco .

Fry the sausages and lardons in a pan for about 10 minutes until cooked (try not to eat allllll the bacon before it's finished cooking). Then add the tomatoes, beans, paprika, chilli flakes and herbs and stir well. Make two wells in the pan and crack the eggs into them. Allow to simmer for a further 5 minutes until the egg white has cooked then place under a hot grill for 1 minute to semi-cook the yolk. Season with salt, pepper and Tabasco.

There's also vitamins, minerals, and of course great protein in salmon. Make sure to look for wild caught, preferably from Alaska. They know what they're doing there so you don't need to take in toxins with your fish. I put a spicy cilantro lime sauce on this and it bakes in no time. Recipe #ontheblog ⠀

These Lemon Poppy Seed Paleo Pancakes are to die for! You need to try them.

Lemon Poppy Seed Paleo Pancakes

Ingredients

3 eggs
3 tbsp almond milk
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted, plus additional for pan
1 tsp vanilla extract
Zest of two lemons
1 ripe banana, mashed
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1-2 tbsp poppy seeds

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, almond milk, honey, coconut oil, vanilla, and lemon zest. Add in the mashed banana.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the coconut flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Stir together until just combined. Fold in the poppy seeds. Let the batter sit for 5 minutes to allow the coconut flour to absorb the moisture.

3. Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet to medium-low heat. Coat the pan with coconut oil. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the bottom is cooked through, and then carefully flip. Cook for another 2-4 minutes until lightly browned. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve warm.

Hallo! Gestern habe ich einen großen Topf Hühnerbrühe gekocht. Eine Hälfte der Brühe habe ich in kleinen Portionen eingefroren und die andere Hälfte wurde für diese Suppe verarbeitet. Das Ergebnis ist eine mexikanisch angehauchte Tomatensuppe mit viel Kreuzkümmel und Chili. Scharf, aber super lecker! 😍

had to kick off the long weekend with this sweet potato toast breakfast plate cuz perfect avocados and poached eggs give me goosebumps (thanks to @briewilly for the story song inspiration) 🙊 
finally got myself to wake up at 4:30am this morning for a 5am workout at the gym 🔥👊🏼! working out or doing yoga first thing in the morning are my favorite way to energize and get the blood flowing 💃🏻. I’m heading up to NorCal for the weekend and I can’t wait! TGIF 🎉
