It feels so good to CRUSH a workout first thing on a Monday morning. This is my last Monday of summer - so it would have been ideal to sleep in. BUT - I have a brand new group of challengers who are starting their day 1 today, and I'm so inspired by the people who continue to commit to themselves and make a change for the BETTER. Plus - today was Day 1 of Week 6 - and I truly get excited to do each workout because they are never the same as the previous week!
On my last 2 reps of those horrid triceps push-ups when I was about to give up, I realized something. No matter how hard it gets, or how much you want to QUIT, you have it in you to FINISH. I physically didn't think my body could handle one more, but I took a deep breath, got out of my head, and FINISHED STRONG.
Life is the same way. No matter how hard things get - when you feel like you just can't handle anymore heartache, stress, anxiety - you have the inner strength that will pull you through it...and by doing so, you'll be even stronger than you were before. <3
Strength does't come from lifting weights. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't.
Bottom line: YOU ARE STRONG. YOU ARE WORTHY. YOU DESERVE IT.
