Hello delicious pre-workout snack!🤤 This was super easy to throw together and packed with protein. 
For this I used:
•1/2 scoop of @1stphorm LEVEL-1 Ice cream sandwich whey protein
•1/2 serving of non-fat plain greek yogurt
•2 caramel rice cakes
•1 serving of PB fit
•Lily’s dark chocolate baking chips (zero sugar, it’s sweetened with stevia!) I mixed the LEVEL-1 protein in with the non-fat yogurt since plain non-fat yogurt doesn’t have the most desirable taste by itself!

So I've realized I haven't been eating enough during the day, which is leaving me exhausted by the 3pm which is when I make a third or fourth cup of coffee to power through. Not good! After some reading and research I've decided adding a smoothie to my prework out routine is a good place to start. I've also read that maca has a ton of benefits all of which I could use so...after scouring Pinterest I decided to make this blueberry, avocado, and spinach smoothie with a tsp. of maca by @freeyourfork and it was delicious and filling. 👋🏼 Hi hi! Are you in need of some meal/snack ideas to eat before your workout? I gotcha covered 🤓
⠀
👅Truthfully, you can eat whatever you want, but in my experience, a combo of protein, carbs and caffeine usually works pretty well.
⠀
💩My go-to is usually coffee and a banana or protein bar, cause I’m usually on the go and don’t have time to make a legitimate meal. It’s totally up to your preferences, but I would recommend eating carbs, which are great for giving you energy for your workout 🔥
⠀
If you’re a numbers person, here’s a general range to aim for, depending on your goals:
⠀
✅ Protein: 20-35 grams
✅ Carbs: 20-50 grams
✅ Caffeine: optional but very helpful
✅ Timing: 1-3 hours before your workout

📖 Keep in mind, these are just guidelines. The best advice I can give is to listen to your body. Usually your body will give you signs during your workout if you prefer a bigger preworkout meal or a smaller snack. You don’t want to feel like you’re gonna throw up, yet you want to have enough energy to get through the workout.

⏰You can always adjust portion size depending on when you consume your pre-workout meal. If you’re working out 30mins-1 hour after eating, aim for a smaller snack. If you have 2-3 hours, try eating a larger meal.

What to Eat Before You Workout🏼 Hi hi! Are you in need of some meal/snack ideas to eat before your workout? Protein bowl for breakfast. I have non fat Greek yogurt in my fridge that I need to use up so I decided to make this bowl since it’s been a long time. It includes plain non fat Greek yogurt, 1tbsp raw honey, 2tbsp raw almond butter, 1/3 cup berries, 1tbsp crushed raw almonds & raw Brazilian nuts topped with a home made chocolate protein muffin. Natural sugar comes from the berries, honey and banana in the muffin. No flour, oil or added sugars in the muffin. I like to eat this early in the day so I can burn it off during my workout. .

Sometimes simple breakfast are the best💛Coconut yogurt & passion fruit and raspberry powder, never get tired of that combo💕I had this yummy bowl after my morning walk with Ollie and feeding the birds and hedgehog 🦔 I Was hoping he would come out and say hi when I was filming from my kitchen window. But I guess he is as shy as I am. But as I told Mon @monsflavors it’s somthing that I am working on. Sometimes being our true selves and loving ourselves can be the hardest. In my opinion we are nothing without love. Studies have shown that people die earlier when they are lonely. And that loneliness might be a bigger health risk than smoking or obesity. That blew me away. No one should feel lonely!! When shopping the other day I saw a woman in a wheelchair shopping having her basket in her lab making it almost impossible to get around (it was not a electric wheelchair) I went over and asked if I could help. She look at me and said are you sure. I smiled and said what do you need. We shopped and I made her laugh a couple of times. When we had paid she insisted on giving me money. I said no thanks, then she said but I need to thank you, I said - you just did. She started crying and said no one had ever been so kind to her. I felt bad because what I did was only giving her 10 minuets of my time. This story is not about what I did, but her reaction to a stranger helping her with her groceries. So glad I know how to adapt in most situations. 
When we were shopping last night, I had every intention of buying some mini disposable foil loaf pans and of course, I forgot to get them. 
Fortunately, the kitchen where we’re staying had a glass baking dish, so I poured all the batter in at once and baked it like a cake. The baking time was the same and then I was able to evenly cut it into 8 servings.

So now I have my morning carrot loaves and in hindsight, I’m glad I forgot the pans cause I really hate the idea of throwing them away.

Comida Pre workout para dos! FRUTAS!!! Por que no? Ahora nos ha dado y me incluyo por satanizar a las frutas. Por qué no comer frutas, preferimos comer comidas procesadas, llenas de químicos y azúcares en lugar de comer de forma más natural. Las frutas aportan minerales y vitaminas como la A, C y E que son esenciales para el funcionamiento del cuerpo, así como muchas otras más. Dependiendo de tus metas o plan alimenticio puedes incluir unas más que otras durante el día, pero no creo que debamos eliminarlas. Últimamente he estado incluyendo más frutas a mi alimentación. En casa no pueden faltar las fresas, arándanos... que son fuente de antioxidantes y bajos en azúcar 
Pues hoy me levanté con esas ganas de comer frutas, así que piqué un kiwi, un par de fresas, medio banano y un poco de papaya. Le coloqué semillas de cáñamos y un poco de mantequilla de almendras al servir. Así que ya estoy súper lista para mi rutina de ejercicios que hoy por cierto voy a hacerla al aire libre!! Acompáñenme en mis historias! Que tengan un maravilloso y bendecido jueves!
