On this variation, I resist the weight on the way down. I let my arms hang fully at the bottom of the motion to get a weighted stretch on the lats (not the shoulders!) Partial range of motion, partial development. Full range of motion, full development! We want full development.

I forgot my wrist wraps today, so I couldn't go heavier. Not for 10 sets... No deadlifts for a while... I hurt my hip flexor doing sprints. 🤦🏿‍♂️I used to be a scary dude on the rugby pitch. The evolution of bulking and cutting. (Left to right) 1st bulk/1st cut/ 2nd bulk/2nd cut. 
I now started my 3rd bulk to date and I’m extremely excited to see how strong and big I get this time around. The only thing I will be changing on this 3rd bulk as opposed to the others will be the cleanliness of the food. In the past I just ate everything in sight and didn’t worry about quality of the food, I just worried about the quantity. It did pay off in the sense that I DID get bigger and stronger, but the fat to muscle ratio was too high on the fat side. It’s only been about a week since I started and I just feel healthier feeding my body such good, clean, quality food. 🚨 (Dm me for custom meal and training plans at a affordable rate from a certified Personal Trainer) 🚨 .

We have been splitting our training sessions up into: •Push - shoulders, chest, triceps
•Pull - back, biceps
•Lower - Hamstrings, glutes, quads ———————————————————————————
We will do each session twice a week because if you look at the bigger picture training one muscle group once a week is all cool but that’s only 52 times you have trained that certain muscle group, when training it twice a week it could be 104 times (quick maths 😅)
This way you will see far more progression in making them gains, just make sure you know your own boundary’s and don’t overtrain a certain muscle group as recovery and rest is important for the body and the mind 👍🏻 ———————————————————————————

I went on a deadlifting hiatus during my #250kchallenge cut and I’ve been rebuilding both my grip strength and calluses to handle the weight and now I’m finally back in full swing. Pulling 225lbs felt like child’s play. I’ll be started a strength building cycle soon and I’m hoping to break all my deadlifting prs

Pull workout!

This workout is Back and Biceps!

1. Wide grip pull ups: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
2. Wide Grip Lat Pull-downs: 3 Sets of 8-12 reps
3. Machine wide grip Rows: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
4. Preacher Curls: 3 sets of 12 reps
5. Hammer curls: 2 sets of 10+ reps

This workout starts with the wide  grip pull ups because it is the major compound movement that hits back and biceps well. And then you can superset (or do separately) the lap pull downs because they are similar to the pull up. You can play with the sets and reps and mix other exercises into this workout, this is just a foundation for a good Pull day!

Deadlift strength back? ☑️
For my top sets that I challenge myself physically and mentally, I take a long prep time. I didn't channel intrinsic inspiration or motivation, just that I had to lift this weight up. I was supposed to stop at 385 lbs for 1 rep but I wanted to see how I'd do at 405. It's a lot cleaner than when I first hit it a few months back, and I honestly felt like I had one or two more in the tank. I'm playing it smart and trying to make good progression. Honest shoutout to @jacquaylen and @deadliftdana for motivating and inspiring me to keep reaching higher, even if it's by seeing them workout or just me wanting to keep up with them 😤😤😤

Today was a deadlift day. I’ve been recently practicing sumo style because my hamstrings are extremely tight so conventional feels very foreign. Hit 225lbs for a 2x2 on sumo then 205lbs for a 3x4. Sumo feels so much better for me.

Pullday done.
