What is S. A. S. (Strong ass Saturdays) is a modified Strongman workout that helps build muscle, drop body fat, and shape your body. Why is this different than doing cardio? Cardio (running and/or long durations on the elliptical or treadmill) will only help you lose weight, meaning dropping body fat AND muscle. Muscle mass is hard to retain which is why you want to be smart about your training to ensure you keep all that hard earned muscle. :

A lot of people use flexible dieting as an excuse to eat nothing but junk all the time.

They only ever eat something healthy when they start to feel sick!

Flexible dieting doesn’t mean you eat nothing but junk, even if it does fit your macros.

Flexible dieting is when you follow the 80/20 rule. Meaning you eat healthy 80% of the time and then eat junk the other 20%.
-
You still need eat your healthy lean meats, fresh veggies, eggs, rice etc. You know all that good stuff. But after you have done this then you can eat some junk food like ice cream and chocolate as long as they still fit your macros for the day.

This is what I do. I eat healthy most of the time but then I also enjoy my chocolate and ice-cream at the end of the day. -
Remember follow the 80/20 rule and the force will be with you. Always.

4. Kettlebell carries (right side) 30 seconds
No rest between exercises!
That's one round. Do 5-10 rounds depending on your fitness level.

You see Insta stories and posts on social media of people using Flexible Dieting, but all they show is when they eat the junk food, not what they eat a majority of the time.

Here's the thing: if you're doing it right, you're still eating healthy ~80% of the time, and the other 20% of the time, you can eat what you want.

For example, you still want to eat your meats, fish, poultry, eggs, and whey isolate for your protein sources, and you still should get a minimum of 3 cups of non-starchy veggies per day. If after you've done this, and hit your protein, then it's fun to figure out what "junk foods" you can eat.

This is what I do. I eat healthily and treat myself in the evening with junk foods like ice cream and chocolate bars (as long as I can fit it into my macros and as long as I've hit my protein and vegetable quotas).

If all you eat is junk food day-in-and-day-out, then you're not doing flexible dieting correctly. Go back to King's landing. You're not welcome in the North.

Either way, focus on good quality whole foods and enjoy your treats in moderation. Hit your macros and protein goals and you'll be good.

10 x Barbell bicep curls
10 x Reverse grip barbell curls
10 x Single arm curls
10 x Wide armed pull ups (use pull up assist if needed)
10 x Cable face pulls

You want to be able to complete the circuit without a rest so pick weights that allow you do do this and don't go so heavy you fail before the end.  Complete the circuit and take a 1 min rest after completing the whole circuit.  Repeat the circuit 3-5 times. -

Before you accuse me of turning to the Vegan dark side, here me out.

If you're cutting, to make dieting seem effortless, eat lots of non-starchy vegetables. They will help you feel full and make the diet much more pleasant. (This is only if you're someone who has trouble feeling hungry while dieting).

But what if you're a skinny guy with no appetite? Well, focus on each proteins and fats. I'd still advise you to get 3 Cups of Non-starchy vegetables per day, but if you feel like this is too much food, you can always blend them. If you really want to take it to another extreme, you can blend your vegetables AND your chicken breasts like my friend @adamhayley1 -
But to be honest with you, I'd rather pick the middle stomach and fill it up with 1200 Calories of beef, because I love beef like Ramsay Bolton likes being a dick.

Saying you are trying to lose fat or gain muscle is useless unless you are eating right.  Here’s how much you should be eating for each goal.
#
Fat Loss - To find your daily calories take your bodyweight and multiply it by 10.  Eating in the 9-11x bodyweight range will give you the momentum for 6-8 weeks to really see the weight drop. Adjust calories after every 10 pounds lost. Make sure to get 1-1.2 g/pound of bodyweight for protein and fill in the rest of the calories with carbs and fat.

Maintenance - To maintain weight, the daily calorie range is 12-14x bodyweight.  Keep protein at 1g/pound of bodyweight with carbs and fat filling in the rest.
#
Muscle Gain - To gain muscle aim for 12-14x on rest days but add 200-300 calories on workout days.  Aim to mainly get it through protein and carbs.  This will keep your gainz mostly muscle rather than fat.  Keep protein in the 1g/pound of bodyweight and fill out the rest with carbs and fat.

Calories for fat loss. It’s not rocket science the idea is to manage a deficit (less in or more out compared to what your body requires). -

A simple method I use is 12-14kcals per pound of body weight. So for a 200 pound guy that would be 2400-2800kcals per day. -

Now in terms of ratios of where your calories come from it would depend on how fat you is mofo.
1️⃣ 8-15% - 50-30-20
2️⃣ 15-20% - 40-30-30
3️⃣ 20%+ - 30-40-30 (Carbs - protein - fat)

But what if you're a skinny guy with no appetite? Well, focus on each proteins and fats. I'd still advise you to get 3 Cups of Non-starchy vegetables per day, but if you feel like this is too much food, you can always blend them. If you really want to take it to another extreme, you can blend your vegetables AND your chicken breasts like my friend @adamhayley1 -
But to be honest with you, I'd rather pick the middle stomach and fill it up with 1200 Calories of beef, because I love beef like Ramsay Bolton likes being a dick.

Well it wouldnt be Easter with out a cheeky egg recipe. -
For the base
* 300g chocolate digestive biscuits
* 150g unsalted butter
For the cheesecake
* 600ml double cream
* 150g icing sugar
* 560g cream cheese (2x 280g pots)
* ½ lemon (just the juice)
* 267g Mini Cadburys Creme Eggs (3x 89g bags - unwrapped and cut into quarters)
To decorate
* 3 Cadburys Creme Eggs
* 150g white chocolate
* 75g milk chocolate
* yellow gel food colouring

* Finely crush the biscuits
* Melt the butter, mix in with the crushed biscuits and press into a cake tin with removable bottom
* Beat the double cream with the icing sugar until it forms soft, floppy peaks
* Very gently fold the cream cheese, lemon juice and chopped mini Creme Eggs into the cream until everything is combined - you can add more lemon juice if you prefer a stronger flavour
* Top the biscuit base and level out
* Leave to firm up in the fridge for at least 3 hours or overnight
* Remove from the tin by running a slim, sharp knife around the edge and popping it out
* Melt your milk chocolate, allow to cool for 5 minutes and then drizzle over the top
* Melt your white chocolate, allow to cool for 5 minutes and drizzle half over the top
* Colour the remaining half of the white chocolate with a little yellow gel colour and drizzle over the top
* Unwrap and cut the remaining Creme Eggs in half - sit on top to decorate

You see Insta stories and posts on social media of people using Flexible Dieting, but all they show is when they eat the junk food, not what they eat a majority of the time.

Here's the thing: if you're doing it right, you're still eating healthy ~80% of the time, and the other 20% of the time, you can eat what you want.

For example, you still want to eat your meats, fish, poultry, eggs, and whey isolate for your protein sources, and you still should get a minimum of 3 cups of non-starchy veggies per day. If after you've done this, and hit your protein, then it's fun to figure out what "junk foods" you can eat.

This is what I do. I eat healthily and treat myself in the evening with junk foods like ice cream and chocolate bars (as long as I can fit it into my macros and as long as I've hit my protein and vegetable quotas).

If all you eat is junk food day-in-and-day-out, then you're not doing flexible dieting correctly. Go back to King's landing. You're not welcome in the North.

Either way, focus on good quality whole foods and enjoy your treats in moderation. Hit your macros and protein goals and you'll be good.

You see Insta stories and posts on social media of people using Flexible Dieting, but all they show is when they eat the junk food, not what they eat a majority of the time.

Here's the thing: if you're doing it right, you're still eating healthy ~80% of the time, and the other 20% of the time, you can eat what you want.

For example, you still want to eat your meats, fish, poultry, eggs, and whey isolate for your protein sources, and you still should get a minimum of 3 cups of non-starchy veggies per day. If after you've done this, and hit your protein, then it's fun to figure out what "junk foods" you can eat.

This is what I do. I eat healthily and treat myself in the evening with junk foods like ice cream and chocolate bars (as long as I can fit it into my macros and as long as I've hit my protein and vegetable quotas).

If all you eat is junk food day-in-and-day-out, then you're not doing flexible dieting correctly. Go back to King's landing. You're not welcome in the North.

Either way, focus on good quality whole foods and enjoy your treats in moderation. Hit your macros and protein goals and you'll be good.

Regardless of whether you want to lose fat or build muscle, you still need to lift weights to BUILD muscle and get high protein.

This means you need to train each body part twice a week. Always try to get stronger on the big compound movements. This should be your focus. With fat loss, in order to make sure that the weight you lose is ACTUALLY FAT, then you need to lift to build muscle. With muscle gain, you need to build muscle. It's the calories you eat that dictates whether you're gaining muscle or losing fat.

In fact, the ONLY difference is the number of Calories you eat. Want to lose fat? Eat less food. Want to build muscle? Eat enough food to support muscle growth (just don't eat too much, as you can gain fat.)

Here is my client @aaron_h_pt showing you how to execute lateral raise on the @cybexuk Bravo. -
1⃣Create a stabile pillar to work around
2⃣Keep scapula retracted (shoulder blades pinched together) throughout the movement. Avoid if you can shrugging your shoulders up.
3⃣Slightly tilt your torso forward to keep focus on lateral deltoids. minimise any swinging or swaying -standing up tall as this will place the focus on the front delt.

Here is my client @aaron_h_pt showing you how to execute lateral raise on the @cybexuk Bravo. -
1️⃣Create a stabile pillar to work around
2️⃣Keep scapula retracted (shoulder blades pinched together) throughout the movement. Avoid if you can shrugging your shoulders up. 
3️⃣Slightly tilt your torso forward to keep focus on lateral deltoids. minimise any swinging or swaying -standing up tall as this will place the focus on the front delt.
4️⃣Focus on pushing the weights out to the opposite walls. Squeeze up as high as you can keeping tension on the delts, until your elbows are at ear level.
