️ Lateral crab walks: helps to develop some close chain stability practicing the act of pushing away, perfect when you have to absorb punches. Progress to bent elbows.
️ Thoracic rotations: perform with one arm on the ground pushing away and the other rotating the thoracic. Having range in rotation is important in generating rotational force like punches and kicks. Find this hard? Do the next exercise.
️Oblique stretches: rotate like so and breath through your stomach for 5 x 5 breaths. Hold for 1 sec. See how far you can twist!
️Pec minor release: important to allow the shoulder complex to elevate and fly!
️Posterior cuff release: important to keep the cuff flexible and the arm centered in the socket.
