I’m not going to lie, I’m the laziest arse when it comes to exercise - I avoided an entire year of PE at school & those years it was forced upon me, i was last to be picked on any team, got banned from playing rounders as I took my own team out when I flung the baton down & even the smokers made it back before me in cross country! 🤷🏼♀️
In later years I discovered that I do love yoga & Pilates but at the mo there’s no classes that work with my schedule & previously I’d been in too much endo pain to sustain any kind of workout routine.
Hitting middle age plus my new meds - and a guy who loves to take me out to dinner! - has resulted in a change of shape for me. The curves I’m loving; the chins, extra back & jelly belly not so much. Today I bit the bullet & signed up to a 21 day over 40s fitness course on @dailyom cuz it ain’t gunna fix itself! I’ll keep you posted 😬 wish me luck!
p.s I’ve done like 2 weeks of 30 second plank & 30 squats each morning so surely I’m ready for this, right?!! 🤣 - 15 days ago
