🔮💫Magic 🎾🎾 Balls 💥🗣 to release Middle Trapezius & Rhomboids (underneath middle traps). Upper Crossed Syndrome, forward head posture, shrugging 🤷‍♂️ ... you name it!!! .
It’s been happening in your day, every day 😲👏 cheer up! There’s always an easy way to release tension (as you make your plan to become 💪stronger from your core, 🍑, legs, 👣 -otherwise PAiN will not go away) .

Get a pair 🎾🎾😅 🙊 watch the ANIMATION 🎥 so you can place the 🎾 where the yellow dot it (between your shoulder blades) that’s where your middle trapezius are, and underneath them (if stay ⏱ around 5 minutes) are the rhomboids. .
Once you’ve placed the 🎾🎾 as you exhale lift your pelvis as you lay on your back, knees bent, feet 👣on the ground (bridge yoga pose). Avoid 🎾🎾 touching the Spine. The higher the pelvis the more intense the sensation the more release takes place 🤗✨ Exhale slowly to turn off your fight or flight response so you can really get some ease ♥️✨ after being 5 minutes in this “soothing” self care treatment. After a long day/week you sure deserve it 🙏🏻✨ enjoy 😉

Deadlift and squats today: 
Barbell deadlift: 
206x1
215x1
2 failed attempts with 220 #kilosnotpounds 
Barbell squat: 4x6, top set- 146 kilos 
Originally I was supposed to train deadlift at 90% however there was a contest going on in the gym and I decided to have some fun instead. 
Really wanted to pull that 220 as was still 7 kilos shy of my personal best however it wasn’t the day today. Next time, I will go beyond and better. 
Happy with how my grip strength has improved and how solid my thoracic spine looks in the 215 kg pull. #beltless 
Time to put in some good work and get stronger! 
Today training: 
Deadlift
Squats: 4x6
Glute ham raise 2x10
Weighted pull ups: 3x5-8, 22 kilos 
Barbell glute bridge 4x6, 140 kilos

Basically pick up some DBs and curl until you can’t do any more, re-rack them and pick up the next lightest DBs and do the same, alllllll the way down the rack. It worked for the @schwarzenegger generation and it still works now.

1st picture 70kgs  this was the first ever time I'd dieted I had zero knowledge of nutrition just knew to go to the gym. 2nd picture 73.5kgs.  I had learned alot, nutrition, training, supplements. I had reached out and asked for help and I got great results. 3rd picture 81.5kgs I have 9 weeks till my wedding and I'm focused on what I want. Fitness is a journey that has ups and downs, I've been unmotivated, I've been injured, I've had all of life's problems thrown in there but j alway bounce back. Dont ever be afraid to ask for help or been seen as a failure, it's a journey and we're always learning.....

My tendinitis was destroying my left elbow but smooth 10x2 @ 370 for skwats again. First 5 sets were with sleeves and wrist wraps, and the last 5 were fookin raw. Stiff leg deads with 315x3x8. Accidentally did 9 the first set cause I lost count. Finished with bis and abs

Of all the training splits out there, this one is my personal favorite! The 5-day split is another great program to follow. While it is one more day in the gym every week than the 4-day split, doing this split allows you get more total training volume every week. If you have the time, this split can be very beneficial. But just make sure if you decide to do a 5-day split, do it right.

On a 5-day split, it’ll be split up into 2 strength days and 3 hypertrophy days. You’ll have a strength day for both your upper and lower body, and the 3 hypertrophy days will be split up into a push day (chest, shoulders, triceps), a pull day (back, biceps) and another leg day. The training week will go as follows

Day 1: Upper Strength / Day 2: Lower Strength / Day 3: Rest / Day 4: Push / Day 5: Pull / Day 6: Legs / Day 7: Rest

On the strength days, try to focus on hitting heavy weight for low reps (anywhere in the 2-8 rep range should be fine). The goal of the strength days is to create more muscle building potential.

Hypertrophy days will focus on moderate weight, higher rep exercises (in the 8-15 rep range). You’re not going as high on weight, so do your absolute best to do all exercises with perfect form, and really feel every rep, as you should for the strength days as well. -
With the use of this split, a caloric surplus, and progressive overload (try your best to improve your total training volume every workout), you are setting yourself up for muscle building success.

What does it mean to be fit?

We all tend to use the word “FIT” in a careless manner.

For many of us, being fit means maintaining a healthy weight with diet and exercise. 
However, the “healthy weight = fit” idea omits and misrepresents several important components of what being truly fit means.

So , fitness is nothing to do with the weight or how you look aesthetically which everyone in today’s world is obsessed about and fail to stick to healthy lifestyle.

Being fit is not a short term goal , it’s a basic necessity like eating food, sleeping  etc. 
Fitness is about how you can physically survive in the most optimum way. 
You may not be buffed up or have a 6 pack abs, but can be physically extremely fit which helps you in carrying out your daily activity in the best possible manner.

To achieve that you need to condition your body on a regular basis and that can be done by doing a combination of strength training, cardio and healthy fuel (nutrition).

But before that I did some warm up first doing the Century test or 100 rep challenge workout courtesy of Mr. @al_kavadlo great workout yt! 
it consist of 
40 squats
30 push ups
20 hanging knee raises
10 pull ups

I did mine for 3 mins and 22 secs. Great for starting calisthenics! 👍👍👍 (Sorry not on video)

Now back on my WOD

One arm push ups (3x each arm)
Commando pull ups (5x each side)
L-sit chin ups (5x)
Sumo deadlift w/ resistance band (10x)
Front squats w/ resistance band (10x)

3 sets with 2 mins rest. 💪 @kingsolowmon try it! 👍

Well, the association between PCOS and weight gain/obesity is complicated. It is possible that having PCOS might make you more likely to gain weight..... BUT....there are many women with PCOS who are normal weight. Like I said...it’s complicated 😒

That said, it might be the other way around - WEIGHT GAIN CAN CAUSE PCOS! So we have a case of which came first... the 🐓 or the 🥚? More and more studies show that weight gain makes PCOS worse and even brings on symptoms in some women. ~. ~
What we DO know is that many women with PCOS lose weight EFFECTIVELY and their PCOS symptoms get better.

Just because you have PCOS it doesn’t mean the laws of energy balance do not exist for you - they most certainly still do. A healthy diet that puts you into a calorie deficit will still work!
~. ~ 
If you have PCOS and you are not losing weight chances are that it’s NOT your hormones. You have most likely not addressed your energy balance effectively. If you are struggling to lose weight - talk to your doctor or other trained healthcare professional to discuss your diet in more detail.

Since my mid 20s I’ve learned so much about myself and the way I react, feel, love, guard, etc. I’ve had a wall up because I was so afraid of getting hurt and on some level, waiting for my broken past to become my healed present/future. Badass Mass - Legs 101: Pause Squats.
•
LAIGS. Believe it or not, my absolute favorite body part to train. Most people who hate training their legs either A) don’t do it correctly or 
B) don’t understand the true benefits or importance.
•
Training your legs correctly will heavily influence fat loss and muscle growth throughout your entire body due to the Natural Testosterone Boost you’ll receive from hitting these high compound movements.
•
The pause squat is a staple in my Leg Training. It’s going to take away the Stretch Reflex, that bouncing motion, that makes most people look like a frog when they’re squatting, and ACTUALLY make you EXPLOSIVE out of the bottom of your Squat. This is what we want.
•
Incorporating pauses into your training the way I explain in this video is going to build strength in your Quads, Glutes, Hamstrings, Calves, Lower Back, Hips, Abs, and also remind your body to stay tight during all its other lifts. This is VERY important for the success of your training.
•
Make sure you break at the hips before your knees, squat DEEP - yes, it’s extremely safe to squat deep, and this is the way you’ll build true muscle and power in your legs - and keep everything TIGHT. And don’t forget to breathe between reps.
•
Do three sets of these after your heavy squats on your next Leg Day. •
Increase your Time Under Tension - Increase your POWER.

Been practicing the bulgarian split squat recently, and I must say, this is a pretty difficult exercise to do BUT if you do them, you really feel your quads working even with just light weights. Definitely now one of my go to exercises during leg day! Try it out, but start with no weights just to get the form right. If you have the chance, do single arm variations of certain exercises, like the one in the video. Doing dumbbell presses using one arm at a time makes you do the exercises slower and gives your core a good workout as you’ll need it to balance the weight.
