This past week I set a 2018 goal so batshit crazy that it scares the hell out of me ๐Ÿ˜ฑAnd that's why I must pursue it. My previous comp goal made me feel comfortable which wasn't enough. I felt like I picked those goals out of simply wanting a goal. But now, after talking to my coach, its amazing the clarity and determination I have. Hereโ€™s an example of what I take to work on a โ€œlow macro dayโ€.
This is excluding breakfast & dinner! 
No starving here!!!๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
- Snack 1: 180g chobani with 100 strawberries, 25g blueberries, 20g raspberries & 30g almonds.
- Snack 2: 4x rice cakes, tuna in olive oil & 100g cottage cheese.
- Lunch: 125g brown rice, 100g broccoli & 120g chicken breast.

Through education and guidance from my wonderful coach @hattieboydle , I have learnt that starving the body is a recipe for disaster. For so many years I was caught in a viscous cycle of restricting calories only to binge days later or on the weekend. A โ€œlow dayโ€ for me currently is about 1750 calories. I use to eat no more then 1000-1200 calories per day and train up to 3 times a day, only to binge on terrible food all weekend, and around in circles I went. So many young females still believe the only way to build a healthy โ€œfitโ€ body is to be in a HUGE calorie deficit. It blows my mind to think I use to do business this way. It can potentially lead to significant damage of the metabolism resulting in metabolic damage and many other health concerns. I am continuously learning and understanding the importance of fueling your body correctly in addition to implementing rest days and manipulating macros around training etc. One day I hope to be able to properly educate females on how to combine sound nutrition with training to obtain desired results ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿปโ˜บ๏ธ

Happy Sunday! So as mentioned in my story, here are more pics of my current status after 5 weeks into my new program. My new program requires me to eat 3500 calories daily, cardio 5-6 a week (sometimes I do 7 tho๐Ÿ˜‰), and lift 5 times a week. My 5 day split is legs, shoulders, chest, back w/ deadlifts, and biceps/triceps. Also, I try to incorporate yoga x2 a week. Typically during my lunch break at work w/ @katelinryan.well Sheโ€™s an awesome instructor who delivers, to us, guided instruction, life lessons for being at peace and relaxing music. So if you donโ€™t know, now you know haha๐Ÿ˜Ž

But along with dieting, cardio, and lifting; itโ€™s important to get enough REST!! W/out the appropriate rest for the muscle, it will have a hard time recovering. Thus, a slower return for muscle growth. Same goes for lack of sleep. This is where your body really repairs itself! So donโ€™t skimp yourself on resting #fitfam I have 3 more weeks on this current program and the results have been better than I imagined. Amazing what some rest can do๐Ÿ˜‰ But I canโ€™t wait to see what comes out of it. Afterwards, I will be looking to return to my #shredded form. It's meditation month in @the_sportsmodel_project and keeping myself accountable to meditating at least 10 mins every day and wow what a difference it is making! 
I suffer from anxiety, my mind can be very over powering sometimes which can leave me feeling stressed and over whelmed, It can become very frustrating and can stop me from doing simple things I should to help me reach my long term goals in life... by meditating it helps clears your mind and also trains it to become aware of when those negative thoughts begin so you can focus on bringing your thoughts back and being present. Try it!
