It was very lovely to get to work with the gift of Rwandan Coffee, from Gatare, as Roasted by @detourcoffee. Feeling sick as a dog today so, more detailed notes to follow. It was quite good.

Altitude: 1765 m.a.s.l.
Producer: Various smallholder farmers
It opens with a light sweetness of molasses, the heart has notes of dried apples 'n' spices, and it finishes with a real earthy cola and a dryness more akin to a Cabernet Sauvignon than a Merlot. Full bodied, medium acidity resulting in a pleasing lingering finish. - 10 days ago
