I felt like uploading something different than usual, so i made this list of tools that i use for my lettering. Maybe this is useful for someone.
1. Pencils, the base of all of my letters.
I started using Palomino Blackwing pencils last year, and i must say, they're great pencils. Super smooth and very nice to work with. So if you’re looking for a great pencil, try these!
The pens is always use! I have a selection of all kinds of sizes of these and i have a stash so i never run out of these. I can’t go without them! The ink is perfect, and again, they’re smooth. So if you’re in need of great pens, try these! @sakuraofamerica
3. Brush Pens
Finding good brush pens is a fun process, just try and see which ones you like best. I already did the trying part and i like these best.
Tombow Dual Brush.
These are great, period! If you need brush pens, get these. Big collection of colors and they have 2 tips, one brush and one fineliner side. What more do you need? @tombowusa
I got these when i started out, and i still use them. I used both the soft and hard tipped versions, liked both of them. Try them out!
I really like these too, they’re a bit like the Tombow Fudenosuke. The only difference being the ink and the way these flow. Hard to explain, but these are great too! @pentelofamerica
Crayola Broad line.
These are fun! And they’re cheap! So why not try them. Really, Try them! @crayola
I use sketchbooks by Leuchtturm1917. The paper they use is perfect and the quality of the book and binding are perfect. I’m about to finish another one, fresh one incoming! @leuchtturm1917
5. Random tools
Some other tools i always work with:
A ruler, a geometry triangle, an eraser of course! And a pencil compass for those moments where you need circles.
That’s it! I don’t use a lot of tools. I do have other pens and tools i use, but those come in handy at random times. The items i mentioned in this post are my go to tools.
Do you use any of these? Are you gonna try some of these? Let me know! - 59 seconds ago
