Time out for Arts for India charity
Earlier this week I had the joy and pleasure of being invited to the “Arts for India” charity event as the BAFTA with the lovely Jayraj JR Sisodia. This charity is close to my heart as it’s main objectives are: • To educate needy and deserving students from some of India’s poorest families, enabling them to make their contribution to the world of art, fashion, film and design. • To facilitate the visit of teachers from the UK to India – to provide world-class education to the needy students and to expose them to international trends in their fields. • To promote Indian art and culture across the world. Satish Modi set up the charity more than five years ago and continues to build upon this wonderful legacy of supporting other less fortunate than himself.
