If your a beginner this is a great place to start 👍🏿 Full body workouts with compound movements 🏋🏾‍♂️ A good 6-8 exercises, get stronger, work on your form and your done. No need to overdo it and workout to the point where you cannot properly recover in time for your next workout. Listen to your body and focus on increasing your strength, fully engaging the muscles being worked and improving your form.

My favorite thing is inspiring women to lift weights 🏋🏻‍♀️ We can actually get bone mass back by continually lifting weights and increasing the weight little by little. Doing this helps us in our everyday lives because hopefully when we fall we bounce & not break. Ahhhh it was amazing to just sleep in today. 🙏

It was a REST day for me and I decided that I was going to sleep 😴 in and rest my body and mind. I think it is important to know when to do this. .
.

Sometimes it’s hard for me to just take time doing absolutely nothing. I feel guilty and that I need to be constantly doing something in my house if I have a free moment. This starts to catch up and causes me to be anxious & stressed. .
.
So what I did today is MEDITATION!!! 🧘‍♀️ I woke up and diffused some lavender essential oil and pushed play on a 10 minute meditation.  It was so freeing and so hard at the same time. I really have such difficulty with my thoughts that are constantly running through my head. I know it’s ok and to focus on the breath that will bring me back but wowzers. My mind and soul needs this so badly. .
.
I realize that I give up too easily and need to keep with it so I am going to try really hard and continue to do this at least either in the morning or at night. 💜

✨Happy Tuesday everyone!!! ✨ 👉🏻 I’ve decided to use this account as a way to help people who want to live a more well-rounded and healthy lifestyle but either:
 1. feel like finding a fun workout is impossible
2. feel like they can’t afford all of the protein powders / healthy meals / preworkouts that are suggested when excercising regularly.
I’ve been there plenty of times and throughout the years. I’ve gotten bored of workout plans and tired of doing the same lifts. Recently I’ve found ways to switch up my workouts so that they ARE fun and I actually enjoy doing them!
Also, I’m a college student who pays for most of my own stuff so I would love to help others find affordable alternatives to foods and supplements. I’ve tried many different types of protein powders, preworkouts, BCAAs, and other supps and I’ve found much cheaper options that I’d love to share with you guys!

I see new and experienced lifters in the gym making this mistake far too often
.
The deadlift is not a squat, it’s a hip hinge
.
If your hips are tracking as low as you knees you’re probably deadlifting wrong
.
Your hips should be lower than your shoulders when you deadlift, but they don’t need to be way lower
.
Practice this hip hinge motion by standing up straight and bending forward, pushing your butt back toward the wall behind you as far as possible
.

I see new and experienced lifters in the gym making this mistake far too often . The deadlift is not a squat, it’s a hip hinge . If your hips are tracking as low as you knees you’re probably deadlifting wrong . Your hips should be lower than your shoulders when you deadlift, but they don’t need to be way lower . Results and habits take time. So does getting to where you want to be. It has taken time for me to make better choices. And it’s certainly taken a lot of time to stay fit and healthy once I lose momentum or motivation. If you’re not 100% committed to want to change your habits, they WON’T change. You have to get to the point where you are sick of feeling like 💩 that you’re willing to make sacrifices to get to where you want to be. Your everyday habits and mindset will lead you in the direction you need to go. No, I don’t want to workout everyday. But it’s NOT about motivation, it’s about willingness not to quit. You will have set backs and you will want to stop. But by creating better daily habits and persistence you will get there. 👊🏼

When I’m feeling lazy, not feeling the gym, takin more than 3 days off from working out and the pattern is setting in.... this is when my discipline kicks in. I get off my ass and hit the gym! Chest / Core day today. 
As a female chest training should not be left out of the picture. It is not true that Chest training will make you less feminine. Been training my chest once a week  for years now and it doesnt makes me look like a man . When you workout your chest it also strengthens and  toned  your arms, triceps, deltoids,  plus it will give (decline especially) your boobs a lift and a firm chest. Have a great Wednesday 😀
