Monday morning upper body weights session 💪🏻 I stick to the staples of:
1. Bench press and Bent-over Barbell Row superset
2. Lat pull downs in varying forms 
Then I follow up with whatever upper body exercises I’m feeling that week (usually from a @whitneyysimmons vid 🙊) and then an abs circuit to finish! .

Those post workout endorphins 😍 I hope everyone has a great Monday! And if you’re in Okinawa, get your booty outside cause this weather is freaking gorgeous!! This week I’ve been swapping out my gym workouts for long bike rides around the island with my doggos and have been loving it😍  I like to switch up my workouts so I don’t get bored. It’s so important to experiment with exercise routines and find something you actually enjoy!🤸‍♂️🏋️‍♀️🤼‍♀️🏊‍♂️ 🚣‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️That way it will be much easier to maintain long term💪

3 things that will make you feel better (pretty much right away)

There are way too many people out there willing to put up with feeling crappy or average at best. 
Most of us just seem to be happy with watching life pass us by without really going after what we want. (Until recently, I was one of these people)

What does this have to do with health, fitness and losing weight?

Are you truly going after what you want right now?

Are you taking the action that you know is necessary to start moving in the right direction?

Do you care so much about how you feel that you will make BIG changes to see big results?

Or do you want to stay stuck? Doing the same things, thinking the same way, eating the same foods, practicing the same old habits that you know deep down will just keep giving you more of the same results?

If you are truly ready to take control of how you look and feel? If so the following 3 things will help you look and feel better, pretty much instantaneously.

1 - Eat better

Seems obvious right? But I promise you that if you start to even improve 1 meal every day, 1 new habit a week, you will build momentum and start to look, feel and move better.

2 - Exercise

Seriously, another obvious one right? But I see so many people waiting for the right time before they start getting more active and exercising regularly. A few times a week, 20-30 minutes at a time will be enough to get the endorphins flowing. This will give you more confidence, more energy and will inspire you to fuel your body much better

3 - Get clear and visualize 
You have to have something to work towards. How does the ideal YOU look and feel? How much do you weigh? Do you feel more energized? Stronger maybe? Is your posture better? What is your Jeans size?

Write it down to get more clear. Once you have this ‘ideal you’, spend 5-10 minutes each day visualizing how you feel. Most people do better visualize the goals in their past like they are looking back at what they have achieved.

See your loved ones praising and congratulating you on your results and progress. Feel yourself moving well and feeling great whilst exercising.

Just finished up an awesome gym sesh! I feel like that was what I really needed to get back in the swing of things and just refocus on my goals. I get distracted so easily and it’s so easy for me to make excuses so these reminders help tremendously. The workout was about a two hour power workout with legs/abs/& cardio 👏🏻 I definitely lost muscle definition being in vacation mode and gained some fluff but itsallllll good because I needed that time to relax and destress and now I’m ready to kick it up a notch! Rainy day Ruck today. A little Good Living (and silly Karate Kid reenactment) followed by 5 miles to a local brewery. Unfortunately I tapped out at 5 miles. Proper footwear is essential. Breakfast➡️post workout➡️dinner 😋. Breakfast was a 2 egg white omelet with ham, baby spinach, goat cheese, and avocado. Had some strawberries and a @gardenlites banana chocolate chip muffin to finish it off. I did 30 minutes on the stair master with the resistance band and then legs focusing on hip strengthening since I want to run on Tuesday. I love when my workout outfits match. Not only does my sports bra match my pants, but my headband matches my shirt! I worked my back yesterday and it’s so sore!! So happy. I had lunch at the dining hall with my friend. We had sushi and a turkey burger (I know I know they don’t go together). I have the calories and macros from lunch given by the dining hall, but who knows if they’re right, so I won’t include them. Now, dinner! Made chicken (5.8 ounces) with baby spinach (15g), ham (1 ounce), and mozzarella cheese (1 slice). It wasn’t the best thing I’ve ever had, but pretty good. My sides were roasted sweet potatoes, roasted butternut squash, and mashed cauliflower. Very filling!!
