Not all heroes wear capes, and not all PTs wear hella expensive team tops that change every season.

Finally - An all purpose supporters Tshirt!  Go sportster, do the thing in the allotted timeframe given to achieve the task of this particular event, using whichever piece of equipment required to do the task better than opposing sportsters.

Look at just a few examples of Thursday morning motivation. In spite of the weather, Fatburn has only ONE space for tomorrow and the other two classes only TEN spaces each. Four or five may not turn up and given the weather, perhaps a few more. I’ll make allowances, but it still stands that many of these people are regular faces in our early morning classes.  We all come in before work, we work out together, then continue our day with that feel good buzz of endorphins swimming around in our system until Friday morning when we have Melanie’s classes! 
Maybe you want to kick your weekends off feeling fit with us on a Friday morning, or have a laugh and make new friends at our Saturday night classes.  You may even want to earn that Netflix n pizza on a Sunday morning.  Start as you mean to go on - Monday morning or just get away from your desk to avoid the pish lunchtime banter on a Tuesday. 
Don’t make excuses, make changes. Thank you to everyone that makes our classes regularly. We love training with every single one of you!

How do you adapt your training for winter?  Home workouts?  Different shoes? Workout in the gym instead of outside?  Or just go full on #rocky ? .
I’ll wrap up, get supplies together and walk there if I have to! ☃️
On days like this, don’t let the weather beat you.  Be realistic and safe but also ask yourself, do I really need to take this session off or can I just adapt my journey, choice of clothing or plan of action taking the weather into account? 🧐

Shock, horror: I ATE CHOCOLATE CAKE FOR BREAKFAST!!! 🍫🍰
Yesterday it was my #30thbirthday ! 
Ever the introvert, I enjoyed a much needed #dayoff floating about chilling, wandering around #unionsquareaberdeen then #horseriding 🐴 followed by a surprise Italian with my closest #bestfriends where I consumed lots of pasta, bread and wine. 🍝🍷
We went to my favourite bars @thetipplinghouse to try lots of cocktails and @decubaaberdeen to drink zillions of Prosecco Bellinis and practice the steps that amazing @salsaaberdeen taught us. 🍸🍹💃🏻
We then jumped about like idiots at @exodusaberdeen (to see if it had changed since I was like 15 - the answer is no 🙈😂). We bumped into like a million of our clients over the course of the day who it was great to see outwith the gym environment with #confidence and many with a new found spark - it really made my night seeing many of you and meant so much to me to see many of you wearing party clothes that we’d been working towards since January and generally witnessing a new springy bounce in people that I work so closely with - especially given the new challenge that I’m about to work on for myself (all will be revealed this week - watch this space) - It’s things like that which make me love what I do. 🤸🏻‍♂️💪🏻
All in all a really happy, spoiled and feeling totally loved  #birthdaygirl .

Now to #rehydrate with a homemade #isotonic drink (basically orange juice, water and a pinch of salt) and #recover my aching legs for my 5am start at PureGym#aberdeen with some #magnesiumchloride salts a sparkly pink #bathbomb from #lushaberdeen , an awesome sugar scrub from @tealanchor and a curious #kitten for company. 🧖🏻‍♀️ .

Tonight we brought one of our outdoor Team PT sessions inside @puregymaberdeen as for the first time this winter, we had to change plans due to weather.  So proud of how well this #rollerderby team are progressing.

Is bingeing only to have to obsessively ‘work it off’ in the gym after unhealthy? Yes! 🤨
Do you have a love/hate relationship with food? 
Stop beating yourself up about the things you like and instead take ownership of how to incorporate them in to a healthier life today! 🍕🥗🥘🍎🥑🍳🥞🧀🍓 It’s all about balance - I didn’t lose 8 stone by being miserable, I learned to eat good food, laughed and jumped around like an idiot⛷🏋🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🏊🏻‍♀️🌯🍌
I love food and know from experience that if you switch up the things you like to make them that bit more nutritionally balanced, you won’t have to completely give up the things you like - or even spend hours in the gym working them off.

Healthy eating doesn’t have to mean you have to give up your fave foods or eat tiny portions.  You just have to #thinkahead and #prepare .  You don’t need to spend hours in the kitchen - just because it’s not a takeaway doesn’t mean it can’t be fast.  Do it yourself: it’s cheaper, healthier and usually yummier.  Whilst being able to control what goes into your meals is one of the best ways to keeping yourself accountable for what goes into your mouth. 
Today we wanted #burritos .  They took #10min to make and there’s enough for #leftovers to launch into a couple of Tupperware boxes for tomorrow’s #6am start at #puregymaberdeen .
