I started my PT Level 3 course this month, but haven't even had a chance to do any coursework yet. My practicals are still a little while away. πŸ“šπŸ’°

It's a scary thought being a Personal Trainer -- acquiring customers is one thing, but actually then having them rely on you to provide them with safe, effective advice and training so they can hit their goals is totally scary.
. 
Last week, I had my first ever Personal Training session (where I was the client). I'm still a lonnnng way off being a qualified PT myself, and even then I'm not going to begin straight away as I have so much to learn. So I figured it'd be great for me to be a client and see how it all works. I've just had my second PT session, hitting a new #PB in the squat rack and walking away with the sorest legs and abs, but feeling powerful.
. 
I really hope one day I'll be able to make my future clients feel this way πŸ’ͺnow time for a delicious post-workout meal of runny poached eggs (punctured for the 'gram), avo πŸ₯‘, rocket, mackerel and bagels.

Not long til my shift starts so thankfully I had some smoothie ingredients up my sleeve. (it's not really a banana milkshake...just tastes like one 😘).

One banana (ideally frozen but I forgot to do this) + several ice cubes for coldness + 1/4 cup oats + several tbsp-full of Greek yoghurt + splash of Agave nectar + 1/3 cup almond milk. I list those cup sizes as though I measured this out... Well, I didn't. I jus guessed. ✌️

It's really important to me to try and make this as slow as possible (I usually go slower!). I normally feel the burn bad when I'm at the top so I try and hold onto that burnπŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯, just long enough so I can still do a slow tempo on the return. I rarely workout calves... In summer I'm all about the hill sprints which I guess I hope gives me some strong calves but, honestly, I've not run outside since December πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ just how bad is that?!
