Today’s the day! Today is the day that 3 special girls got a big sack each, filled with Christmas toys and joy!
& lemme tell you something about these girls... unfortunately they’ve never really had a Christmas like you and I, due to a less than average home life. Custody battles and foster homes have been involved, basic hygiene isn’t second nature, and the clothes and toys they have are slim and shared. BUT the love in their hearts and their happy-go-lucky attitudes is what really matters.
When we asked the girls what they wanted for Christmas, here is what they said.... “we never really get a Christmas so we don’t ask for anything”.
After this, we told them to think about it and let us know the next day if there’s anything they wanted...this is what they wanted... •Light up bouncy ball •A pen for their Grandpa that said “best dad”
•Roses for their grandma •Hair combs
•Hair ties •Barbie dolls
It’s amazing how little they asked for but made me even more excited to make this year extra special for them. ️️️️️️️️️️️️️ With the help of the guidance counselors at my school, we were able to provide them with bikes, meals from publix’s, and lots of presents for them to open on Christmas Day!
